went to the design within reach warehouse sale yesterday. we waited in a line as long as what you would find at disneyland. unfortunately once we reached the end there wasn't an exciting ride. there was some not so great over priced furniture. some stuff was okay but nothing that really sang to me. probably better that way since i don't really need to be buying furniture. you never know with those things. better to have gone and found nothing than to be wondering what you missed out on.

turns out i got myself a case of the flu. it took me awhile to figure it out because i'm stubborn like that. the truth of the matter is i hate being sick and refuse to come to terms with it when i am. i hate feeling weak. something that is a major part of being sick. so i've managed to get a whole lot of television watched and that's about it. this afternoon i have started to feel human again. riley is such a great dog. he so knows how to chill when i need him to. we went on a long walk this afternoon so now he's pooped. poor peter has been working nonstop. he deserves a vacation somewhere exotic. where that is i'm not sure. maybe i should start doing some research and plan our fantasy vacation. you never know.
